Policies

In order to honor government recommendations and out of an abundance of caution, we ask you to observe the following:

First, we will continue to live stream the services.  If anyone feels that it unsafe for them to be physically present for the service please continue to take advantage of this platform.

Second, we are asking that families/households sit together.  This will help us maintain the six-foot distancing that has become customary during these times of uncertainty.

Third, we are encouraging everyone to follow the county's requirements for face masks.

Fourth, if your immune system is compromised or you are in one of the categories that is more at risk, please use discretion in deciding whether to attend or not.  We want you safe and healthy.

Fifth, if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or the flu or some other infectious disease please stay home.  It is reasonable and loving to not deliberately and recklessly risk infecting others with something that could make them sick and could even possibly kill them.  If someone does show signs of being sick they will be asked to leave.

Sixth, there will be no Sunday school until further notice.

Seventh, steps will be taken to make communion safe.  The elements will be handed out in separate cups at one time to minimize the number of hands reaching into a common plate.  Anyone who feels that this arrangement is still unsafe, please feel free to bring your own elements.  We do not want anyone who is qualified to not participate.

Eighth, until some normalcy returns we are suspending the snack and coffee tables.  Please fill up at home and bring your coffee with you.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact an elder.
